Steady state park and recreation area usage so far this year; GFP giving short term boat slip rentals a try at Spring Creek Recreation Area
In spite of having several rainy days, use of South Dakota state park and recreation areas has been good so far in 2024. That's according to state Game, Fish and Parks Recreation Division Director Jeff VanMeeteren. Daily licenses sales were up 23% and VanMeeteren says they are largely driven by weather conditions.
