WINNER, S.D. – Chamberlain’s Ella Byers won the 800 and 3200 meter runs to pace the Chamberlain girls at the Big Dakota Conference Track and Field meet that was held Tuesday in Winner. Winner won both the boys and girls team titles while Chamberlain came in third in both of the divisions. Todd County was second in the girls and Miller’s boys finished 2nd. Stanley County competed in the meet and Tori Jones shined for the Lady Buffalos with first place finishes in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles. The Lady Buffalos also won the 1600 sprint medley relay. Chamberlain’s Maddy Handel also won twice capturing the girls discus and shot put titles. In the boys division, Stanley County won the 1600 meter medley relay. And Damon Hoftizer continues to perform well by winning the Boys Shot Put title.
