WINNER, S.D. —Winner/Colome scored three runs in the first inning and earned a 6-2 American Legion baseball win over Chamberlain Wednesday night in Winner. Jackson Kinzer and Oscar Pravecek each hit RBI doubles in Winner-Colome’s 3 run first inning. Pravecek finished with three hits, including two doubles. Cody Brickman started and went six innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out seven. Layton Thieman threw one inning in relief to pick up the save. Remington Rossow hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for Chamberlain which finished with a total of 6 hits with Riggs Priebe and Max Donovan each getting 2 hits. Cole Hickey took the loss for Chamberlain surrendering six runs on eight hits over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.
