Steven R. Muehl, 68, of Faulkton, passed away, Friday, May 30, 2014 at his home in Faulkton.

Steven Richard Muehl was born April 30, 1946 to Jake and Eileen (Morrow) Muehl.  He attended country school and later Faulkton High School, graduating in 1964.  He attended college at Northern State University for 3 1/2 years.

After leaving college, he was employed with the postal department in Fargo and later the Potter County Highway maintenance crew in Gettysburg.  He has been retired for several years living in Gettysburg and in recent years, Faulkton.

Steve enjoyed eating out and watching sporting events, especially baseball. He had a great love for cross word puzzles and his talent for picking times and dates out of thin air was quite amazing.  He had many great memories of growing up and working on the farm, participating in 4-H programs and playing baseball in Faulkton on the little league up through legion teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by several cousins.

The family appreciates and thanks all those who watched out for Steve’s well being over the years, especially those years following his parents passing.

Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Steve’s arrangements.
