PIERRE, S.D. – Due to the strong late Winter Storm that is moving through South Dakota the starting times for games for the State High School Varsity Boys Hockey Tournament have been pushed back a day and a half due to road conditions in South Dakota The tournament begins tonight at the EXPO Center with the first game between the Oahe Capitals and Brookings Rangers now scheduled to start at 6:30 pm. The Watertown Lakers face the Rushmore Thunder at 8:45 pm. The other two first round games will be played tomorrow with the Sioux Center Storm facing the Huron All Stars at 8:30 am. The final game of the first round will be at 10:45 am with Aberdeen taking on top seed Sioux Falls Flyers. The semi final round will be played Saturday afternoon and night with the finals scheduled for Sunday with the championship game wrapping up the tournament at 3:35 pm.
