SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The third annual Samaritan’s Feet Barefoot Classic presented by Sanford Health returns to the Sanford Pentagon Jan. 6, 2018. Eight boys games comprise this year’s schedule. Games start at 10:30 a.m. and tip every 90 minutes. All but two teams in this year’s field are from South Dakota. Minnesota’s Minneapolis North and Iowa’s Sioux City North represent the out-of-state squads. Here is the schedule for the Classic.

Noon – Viborg-Hurley vs. Bon Homme
1:30 p.m. – Tri-Valley vs. Parkston
3 p.m. – Langford vs. Lower Brule
4:30 p.m. – Dakota Valley vs. Irene-Wakonda
6 p.m. – Little Wound vs. Elk Point Jefferson
7:30 p.m. – Sioux Falls O’Gorman vs. Sioux City North
9 p.m. – Tea Area vs. Minneapolis North
The event allows coaches the option to go barefoot during the games to help raise awareness of Samaritan’s Feet, a 501(c)(3) humanitarian aid organization that shares a message of hope with children in need in the United States and around the world by washing their feet and giving them a new pair of shoes. Since its founding in 2003, Samaritan’s Feet and its partners have distributed more than 6.5 million pairs of shoes in more than 75 countries and 325 U.S. cities.
