RAPID CITY, S.D – The Pierre Post 8 American Legion Baseball teams 6 game winning streak came to an end Thursday afternoon when Rapid City Post 320 defeated Pierre 5-1. Post 320 broke a 1-1 tie with a 3 run 5th inning to send Pierre to it’s 12th loss of the season. Pierre was limited to 3 hits in the game with Cash Anderson getting the only RBI. Devon Romney allowed 6 hits but struck out 10 Pierre batters and led Post 320 at the plate with two hits and driving in all 4 runs. Quinn Reimers started for Pierre but got into trouble in the 4th inning. Nick Rabern pitched 2.1 innings allowing 3 runs in the 5th to take the loss. Pierre is now 7 and 12 on the season and will face Rapid City Post 22 in a single 7 inning game tonight at 7 pm central time in Rapid City.
