PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre Swim Team competed at the SD Short Course State A Championship over the weekend, placing fourth overall as a team with total points of 2,956. The team saw many personal best swims and several new team records were set. Caleb Huizenga set a new State Meet Record and Overall State record in the 50 yard freestyle, and Ella Ward-Zeller set a new Overall State and State Meet Record in the 200 yard individual medley. Several PST athletes will be heading to Speedo Sectionals in Rochester Minnesota on March 14-17, 2019.
