A 31-year-old man from Pierre is charged with Second Degree Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault and Intentional Damage to Property after an incident early yesterday (Sun.) morning.
According to the Pierre Police Department, officers were called to an address on South Poplar Avenue where Beau Keckler had held another person against their will while brandishing a knife and threatening them with serious bodily injury. The victim was able to break free from Keckler and make their way to another residence one block south. Keckler arrived at that residence and broke out a window when denied entry.
Keckler is currently being held at the Hughes County Jail.
