Pierre Hospital to Temporarily Close Sioux Avenue Entrance for Construction April 25th

PIERRE, S.D.  – The entrance to the hospital parking lot off Sioux Avenue will be closed temporarily due to construction starting Tuesday evening, April 25. Construction is scheduled to last one week. The High Street closure will allow crews to update and lay new water pipes that will service the future Helmsley Center.

Patients and visitors may still access the main parking lot in front of the Hospital by using the Washington Avenue entrance near Anderson’s Clothing store. The street closure will not affect the Mac Lane entrance to Avera Medical Group clinic.

We understand this is an inconvenience. Thank you for your patience as we begin the construction of the new Helmsley Center, home of the Avera Cancer Institute.
