PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre High School Spring Club Baseball team sits 6th in the power point standings of Class A Baseball and will look go on the road on Saturday to compete in a regional tournament. Pierre ended their season last weekend with a 11-7 record after a doubleheader split with Rapid City Stevens and will travel to Sioux Falls on Saturday to play their regional tournament. The four Sioux Falls schools sit in the top 4 spots with Sioux Falls Roosevelt the overall top seed followed by O’Gorman, Lincoln and Washington. The four Sioux Falls teams have games yet to play on Thursday. This is the first year that the South Dakota High School Baseball Association has seeded out the Class A tournaments.
