Pierre teacher Ann Noyes (noise) is one of five teachers in the state to earn National Board Certification last year.
Noyes told the school board at last night’s (Mon.) meeting, achieving the certification took her two years.
Noyes says she did various things to help prepare for the certification.
National Board Certification costs about $2-thousand. Pierre Supt. Dr. Kelly Glodt says all the hard work does earn Noyes a financial benefit.
National Board Certification is valid for five years with
recertification possible every five years after that.
