SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor soccer teams improved to 2 and 0 on the season while the Governor boys struggled again in the offensive end and were beaten soundly by Spearfish Tuesday night in Spearfish. Mack Rath had her second shutout of the season in 2 games as the Lady Govs beat Spearfish 2-0. The Governors were down 6-0 when the match was called due to lightning in the Spearfish area about 15 minutes into the second period. The girls game also was called due to lightning as the games were being played simultaneously. The Win upped the Lady Govs record to 2-0-0 on the young season while the Governors fell to 0-2-0.
