ABERDEEN, S.D. — Top-ranked Warner proved their worth in a straight-set sweep of the Jones County Lady Coyotes at the State B Volleyball Tournament Thursday afternoon. The Monarchs won by scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-12. The Coyotes did their best to minimize mistakes against the two-time defending State B Champions, committing no service errors and an average of only three hitting errors per set, but Warner fought off everything the Coyotes sent their way. The Monarchs also excelled offensively with three double-digit scorers, led by Ashley Rozell with 18 kills. Rozell in fact registered a triple-double by adding 22 set assists and 10 digs. Jones County was led by Madison Mathews with eight kills and Calli Glaze with 15 digs. Warner, now 32-1 on the season, moves into the semifinals, while 23-8 Jones County will play in the consolation bracket at noon on Friday.
