ABERDEEN, S.D. – Hub City smacked 15 hits off of 4 Pierre Trapper pitchers and outscored the Trappers 14-10 Sunday in Expedition League Baseball in Aberdeen. With the win, Hub City wins the series 2-1. Austin Allen hit a solo home run for Hub City and leadoff batter Ryan Thilnbert had 4 RBI’s for the Hot Shots. The Trappers were led at the plate by Billy Moreland who had a pair of doubles and 2 RBI’s. Dom Parkhurts started but lasted only 3 innings for the Trappers allowing 5 runs, all earned on 6 hits. Jeremiah Maxfield was the winning pitcher for the Hot Shots going 8 innings and allowing 2 runs. The Trappers scored 8 times in the ninth inning before going down for the 6th time this season against just 2 wins. The Trappers road trip continues tonight in Minot when the open a series against the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs.
