Ft. Pierre Baseball Wins Badlands League Tournament Title



KADOKA, S.D. – The Ft. Pierre Post 20 U14 baseball team won the Badlands baseball league championship last Thursday night in Kadoka with a 14-2 win over White River. Lathan Prince led the Post 20 offense with 3 hits, Chase Carda and Matthew Hostler each added 2 more as Post 20 tallied 17 hits on the night. Daysen Titze worked 4 innings of 1 run ball to get the win. Post 20 was able to avenge their only loss of the season, a 9-7 setback 12 days ago in White River. Jones County claimed 3rd place as they knocked off Wall in the early game.
