South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard was in Washington, DC last week to participate in the President’s Apprenticeship Task Force meeting.
Daugaard, speaking on the Dakota Radio Group’s SD Perspective Program Monday, said the group seeks to find ways to make apprenticeships available to more people.
Daugaard says the group, who has been meeting for the past six months or so, presented their report to Pres. Trump.
The governor gave examples of professions where apprenticeship opportunities could be created.
Daugaard says apprenticeships provide another avenue for people to obtain advanced education.
