Court proceedings temporarily suspended in Gregory County

The South Dakota Supreme Court has declared a judicial emergency in Gregory County.

Chief Justice David Gilbertson says judicial operations for Gregory County will resume at the Tripp County Courthouse in Winner. All deadlines, time schedules and filing requirements pending in Gregory County are suspended until further order by the Court. Anyone with Gregory County Court proceedings should wait to hear from someone with UJS to find out when their next appearance will be. Cases are NOT AUTOMATICALLY moved to Tripp County, same time and date.

The order is effective immediately and is retroactive to August 6, 2019.
