RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Oahe Capitals boys varsity hockey team went 4 and 0 over the weekend at a tournament in Rapid City and improved to 8 and 0 on the season. The Captials wrapped up the 3 day, 4 game tournament on Sunday with a 6-3 win over Glenboro-Carbury,Manitoba. The began tournament play with a 9-1 whitewash of Gillette, Wyoming and Friday and then posted a pair of victories on Saturday downing Boissevan, Manitoba by a 8-3 score and then defeated Bozeman, Montana 6-1. Riggs Sanchez led the scoring for the Captials with 6 goals over the 4 games and Caden Davis chipped in with 5 goals in the 4 games. The Captials varsity will take next weekend off for the Thanksgiving break and begin league play on December 1st when they travel to Aberdeen. They host Brookings on December 2nd. at the EXPO Center in Ft. Pierre.
