Scholarships of $4,000 $3,000 $2,000 and $1,000 will be awarded to four students from South Dakota enrolled in any post-secondary institution in South Dakota.
Beginning February 1st through April 18th, certified volunteers will provide free Income Tax service for seniors and middle to low income taxpayers. Tax assistance will be provided on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons 1-4:30pm at the Pierre Area Senior Center (401 W. Pleasant Drive, Pierre)

“Goodbye, My Fancy” is a Broadway hit about a liberal Congresswoman who returns to her old school as an honorary visitor. Since her wartime experiences in Europe, she has devoted herself to the task of acquainting people with the horrors of war. That is why she has broaught a documentary with her to be shown to the young graduates. The movie is considered harsh and improper by trustees, so she has a fight on her hands.
