Front Porch Coalition is sponsering a seminar on Mental Health First Aid and Awareness on June 3 at the Wrangler Inn in Mobridge. There is no cost but a little of your time. Runs from 8am to 5pm that day. The purpose of this is to educate you on the awareness of mental health of your children and teen bringing the problem of suicide to our children and teens to light and help to prevent another loss of life.

Farm Safety Camp on June 9th at the Mobridge Rodeo Grounds for kids ages 6-14. Sign in begins at 8:30am and the program will start ay 9am.

This is a tournament that is all about having a good time! They are using big cups (8″ instead of the regular 4″), a 9-hole course, and a scramble format–which means everyone from beginner to expert will have fun at this event. They are also hosting a walking poker run for $10 a hand with card stops along the course and a loaded nacho bar for participants after the outing! Sign up today through June 12th for $160 a team price goes up to $200 a team after June 12th. The next Indigenous Riders Iron Pony Intertribal Honor Run is set for July 21-24. It will start at Crazy Horse Memorial and rides to Eagle Butte. This years ride will honor the people of Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Many activities are planned throughout the four day event.
