FT. PIERRRE, S.D. – The Stanley County Buffalo football team broke into the win column last night scoring two fourth quarter touchdowns to rally for a 18-12 win over White River at Ole Williamson Field. White River built a 12-0 lead before Buffalo Herman Fennell III broke loose on a 51 yard touchdown run. In the fourth quarter, Fennell III hit Colton Drageset on a 10 yard scoring pass and Fennell III scored on a 15 yard run for the game winning touchdown. Fennell III finished with 92 yards rushing in the game as the Buffalos improve to 1 and 2 and White River falls to 1 and 2. Justin Prue and Tanner Cook scored on touchdown runs for the Tigers. The Buffalos go back on the road next Friday as they travel to New Underwood. White River visits Murdo to face Jones County.
