Blizzard downgraded to Winter Weather Advisory; Storm cleanup starts today

The blizzard warning for central South Dakota has been downgraded to a winter weather advisory, which is in effect until 1pm today (Fri.).

Weatherology meteorologist Megan Mulford says while still 20mph-plus, the winds have gone down.

With most of the state already saturated from higher than normal snowfall all winter, Mulford says melting from this snow may cause temporary flooding issues again in some areas.
