PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Governor Dennis Daugaard will take part in a celebration Saturday at North Dakota’s Capitol Building for that state’s 125th anniversary. A daylong event is planned tomorrow on the grounds of the state capitol in Bismarck. A schedule indicates there will be entertainment, food, fine arts and games. Governor Daugaard says he has talked with North Dakota’s Governor Jack Dalrymple and both have agreed to attend anniversary activities in each other’s state.
Daugaard says next month, an anniversary wagon train will travel from Yankton to Pierre and when it ends September 20, Governor Dalrymple will come to the Capital City to note its arrival and South Dakota’s celebration of 125 years.
