PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The Museum at the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre will hold a special “Meet the Artist & Catalog Signing” with Arthur Amiotte Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. CDT. The book signing will be Amiotte’s last public appearance in association with the exhibit “Transformation and Continuity in Lakota Culture: The Collages of Arthur Amiotte, 1988-2014″ before it closes at the center on August 24. The exhibit will travel to four other locations in the state in future months-including the Heritage Center at the Red Cloud Indian School, the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, the Akta Lakota Museum in Chamberlain and the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City.
