Stirling Family Ranch Rodeo Benefits Cancer Warriors

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The 17th annual Stirling Family Memorial Ranch Rodeo will be held September 20 at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Fort Pierre.  All proceeds raised from the event go to help individuals fighting cancer and their families.  There will be an action packed day of ranching fun as four member teams compete in calf branding, wild cow milking, ranch bronc riding and more.  The kids get to compete in the wild pony race and mutton busting.  Four member teams and wild pony race participants should register by September 10 to compete.  This morning Sandy Sivertsen (shown in picture) visited with KGFX’s Scott Lane and updated listeners on next month’s fundraiser.  Check www.stirlingfamilyranchrodeo.com for details.  Listen back to the interview by clicking on the audio bar below:
