RC Post 22 Commits 6 Errors in Loss at Central Plains Legion Tournament

FARGO, N.D. – Rapid City Post 22 built a 4-1 lead before the roof fell in and Fargo, N.D. won it’s first Central Plains Region game since 1992 yesterday 14-7 in the first round of the Central Plains Region American Legion baseball tournament being hosted by Fargo at Jack Williams Stadium.  Fargo had a 18 hit attack and were aided by 6 Post 22 errors sending Post 22 to an elimination game today in the tournament.  Rapid City will face Omaha Creighton Prep in the second afternoon game at approximatly 1 pm.  Creighton Prep was beaten 10-1 by St. Cloud, Minnesota.  The other games at the tournament saw Lakeville, Minnesota defeat West Des Moines, Iowa 7-3 and Bismarck, N.D. edge Omaha Westside.
