PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre Swimmer Wyatt Rumrill posted some very fast times last weekend at the Central Region meet in Minneapolis last weekend. Rumrill finished 1st in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:06.47 which made the winter Junior Nationals Cut. Rumrill then time trialed and got 1:06.26 which qualified him for summer Junior Nationals and was the fastest US meet for the 18 and unde rage. Rumrill also finished 2nd in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:24.13, taking over 4 seconds off of his current South Dakota record set at state meet last month. That time also qualified Rumrill for the winter Junior Nationals meet. Finally the Pierre swimmer was second in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.70 and 3rd in the 200 InterMediate with a time of 2:20.95. He also placed 7th in the 50 freestyle and 4th in the 100 backstroke.
