SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – South Dakota’s Agriculture Department says William Smith has been named director of the agency’s resource conservation and forestry division.
Smith has worked for the agency since 2009 as a conservation program manager.
The agency says agriculture is South Dakota’s No. 1 industry, generating $25.6 billion in annual economic activity and employing 115,651 South Dakotans.
