TABOR, S.D. – Madison jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held on for a 5-2 victory over Tabor for the championship of the South Dakota State Class B American Legion Baseball Tournament. Bradyn Steffen doubled and singled, driving in a run, to lead Madison. Giles and Jacob Leighton, the Class B Player of the Year, each had a double and a RBI. Leighton went the distance for the victory, striking out nine. Sawyer Fridrich doubled and singled for Tabor. Tabor was named the tournament’s Sportsmanship award winner, a second straight year that the program received the honor.
