SDHP Says Colorado Man Killed in Meade County Crash

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A Colorado man died in a one-vehicle crash about 14 miles south of SD Highway 34 yesterday.  The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the accident was reported about 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning.   60-year-old Stevan Daniel Bruce of Fountain, Colorado, was driving a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup southbound on New Underwood Road at the time of the crash.  The vehicle left the west side of the road in a curve, entered the ditch and rolled.  Bruce was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.   The accident is being investigated by the Highway Patrol and the Meade County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene of the wreck Sunday.  No other information on the accident is available at this time.
