125th Statehood Event Schedule Grows as Anniversary Year Progresses

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) South Dakota is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year! To date, 32 towns, including Pierre/Fort Pierre have been named official Statehood Celebration Communities.  A number of anniversary activities will be held in the coming months, including a September wagon train between Yankton and Pierre and November 1 celebration events at the Capitol.  This morning as part of the KGFX Hometown Tour, Scott Lane interviewed Mike Mueller of the South Dakota Bureau of Administration about some 125th anniversary activities.  Watch the video below:
