RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Pierre Post 8 Junior Legion baseball team lost twice last night in Rapid City as they were defeated by the Post 22 Expos. Post 22 won the first game 12-10 and then got shutdown in the nightcap 11-1. That is 4 losses in a row for the Post 8 Junior Legion. In the nightcap, Post 22 scored 8 runs in the first two innings and went on to win in 5 innings on the 10 run mercy rule. Pierre was limited to 3 hits. In the opener Pierre scored 5 runs in the first inning but could not hold the lead as allowed 10 runs in the first two innings. Jack Wollman had 3 hits to pace Pierre. The Pierre Post 8 Junior Legion returns to Rapid City this weekend to compete in a tournament.
