KADOKA, S.D. – The Region 7B Track and Field meet was held Thursday in Kadoka. It was qualifying day for athletes for the State Class B Track and Field meet next week. Some of the highlight saw Jones County win twice on the girls side as a trio of relay races went to the Coyotes. The 4×400 and 4×800 relay races and the 1600 Sprint Medley Relay races. Korder Cropsey of Lyman won the 100 and 200 meter races while Kadoka Area’s Chandler Sudbeck won the 100 and 300 meter hurdle race. The Stanley County boys won twice in the relay races winning the 4×800 and 1600 Sprint Medley Relay. Logan Ammons of Kadoka Area also won twice taking the Shot Put and Discus events. In the end, Rapid City Christian won the Girls team title with Lyman second and Stanley County third. The boys division was won by Lyman with Stanley County second and Kadoka third.
