Six Players to Try Out for NFL Teams

UNDATED  -  USD cornerback Jarrid Bryant signed a free agent contract with the St. Louis Rams and offensive lineman Cody O’Neill was invited to the Minnesota Vikings minicamp over the weekend.  Three members of the South Dakota State football team have signed unrestricted free agent contracts with NFL teams.  Defensive Back Winston Wright signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans while two other players will be trying out for the Houston Texans.  Offensive Tackle Bryan Witzman and outside linebacker Doug Peete signed contracts on Saturday.  Witzman was a first team All American for the Jackrabbits.  And a sixth South Dakota football player, offensive lineman Jon Caspers from Northern State also earned a shot at the NFL as he recieved a call from the Minnesota Vikings Sunday Morning.  Caspers is a left tackle who was a second team All NSIC selection last season.
