PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The Museum of the South Dakota State Historical Society will debut its new exhibit, entitled “Transformation & Continuity in Lakota Culture: The Collages of Arthur Amiotte, 1988-2014″ on Saturday at the Cultural Heritage Center. The exhibit explores the recent work of South Dakota native and Lakota artist Arthur Amiotte. On Saturday, the museum will host a special “Meet the Artist & Catalog Signing” with Amiotte from 10-11 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m. There is no fee to attend the event, and refreshments will be available to visitors.
