Frosty’s Summer Bash Brings ACM-Nominated Duo to Aberdeen



ABERDEEN, S.D. — (DRG News) Hot on the heels of their second album, country music duo Love and Theft will headline the inaugural Frosty’s Summer Bash, Saturday, June 28th, at the Brown County Fairgrounds; Centennial Village. “We couldn’t be more excited about bringing Stephen and Eric in to help us launch this annual festival of food, fun and fundraising,” said Georgia Smith, who spearheads the Bash. Love and Theft has hit the top 10 on the Billboard Hot Country twice, with their smash hit “Angel Eyes” going all the way to number one. They last appeared in Aberdeen in 2010 at the Brown County Fair.

Dubbed “The Coolest 2 Days Around”, Frosty’s Summer Bash is a fundraising event for the 68-year-old South Dakota Snow Queen Festival and its scholarship program. The Bash runs Saturday and Sunday, June 28th and 29th, and will include two days of music acts, a tail-gate cook-off, games, activities and special events for children. “We believe Frosty’s Summer Bash has something for people of all ages…a quality event that will allow people to enjoy a fun summer weekend while supporting a great cause.”
