BOWLING GREEN. Ohio—Sophomore Sydney MacDonald finished tied for second and the South Dakota State women’s golf team placed fourth at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. The Jacks shot a 640 (315-325) on the par-72, 5,960-yard layout, finishing 12 shots behind invitational winner Ball State. It was SDSU’s fifth top-five finish this season and second consecutive. MacDonald shot a 79 Sunday to finish with a 152, one stroke behind invitational winner Bowling Green’s Lily Bartell in the 90-player field. Freshman Megan Mingo shot a team-best 77 (160) Sunday to finish tied for 15th. Junior Myranda Dunmore and sophomore Brianna Janu both finished tied for 29th, shooting 164s. Freshman Islamiah Fuad tied for 65th, shooting a 171 (85-86).
