WALL, S.D. (AP) – A nine-mile construction project on Interstate 90 east of Wall to near Cactus Flats is scheduled to begin today.
KELO-TV reports the work will involve grading, removing and replacing concrete pavement, installing edge drains and paving new asphalt shoulders on the eastbound lanes.
Traffic is expected to be reduced to one lane in each direction.
The station reports that the eastbound Exit 127 will be closed for on and off ramps. Off-ramp traffic will be diverted to Exit 131, while on-ramp traffic will be detoured to Exit 121.
The project is scheduled to end in late October.
