DRG’s Think and Drive Stay Alive 2014

Think and Drive 2014 Tayla and Robert Brooks Presentation

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Tuesday, March 18, 2014, the Dakota Radio Group brought another presentation of Think and Drive Stay Alive to Riggs Theater in Pierre.  The program featured guests who spoke drinking and driving and about a 2011 hit and run accident that killed a 16-year-old boy.  Speakers in that segment were SD Highway Patrolman Mark Weibrecht, Hughes County State’s Attorney Wendy Kloeppner, Cindy Schmit of the Division of Criminal Investigation, and Amy and Keith Johnson.  Also on the program were a father and daughter from Rapid City-Robert and Tayla Brooks.  Tayla came close to death as the result of an alcohol related crash in 2012-and continues to fight to recover from her injuries.  We also welcomed Tim Bresnahan who serves as Chaplain to the Pierre Police Department as part of the program.  If you didn’t see or hear this year’s program, watch the presentation provided by Riggs High School below:
