SD Discovery Center to Host Forensic Science Cafe

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The South Dakota Discovery Center’s brand new Youth Advisory Board will hold an event on Saturday, March 29 called the Forensic Science Cafe. The center’s Kristie Maher visited KGFX today and talked with Scott Lane about the Forensic Science Cafe for 9th through 12th graders.  It will be held at Pier 347 and starts at 3:00 p.m.  A state forensic scientist will present information about his career and there will be hands-on activities for the teens.  They will also look for clues in a crime scene!  For more information, contact the Discovery Center at 224-8295.  To listen to Kristie talk about the Forensic Science Cafe, click on the audio bar below:
