Capitals Varsity Hockey Travels to Aberdeen for Matchup with Cougars



PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre-Ft. Pierre Capitals varsity boys hockey team wraps up it’s regular season schedule tonight when they travel to Aberdeen for a matchup against the Cougars. Both teams are battling for seeding for the upcoming State Varsity Hockey tournament in two weeks. Pierre is trying to hold on the third seed while Aberdeen is fighting for the 5th seed. Watertown still has two games remaining and can surpass the Capitals for the third seed with two wins. Tonight will also be the final game for the JV’s as they prepare for their state tournament next weekend. The Capital JV’s currently sit third in the league standings.
