Non-Profit Organization Farm Rescue Now Offers Haying Assistance for Crisis-Stricken Farm Families

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – (DRG News) A North Dakota based non-profit organization that provides free planting and harvesting assistance for farm families who have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster is now adding haying to its list of assistance offerings.  Farm Rescue’s coverage area includes the states of South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and eastern Montana.  Farm Rescue founder and president Bill Gross says the organization has had many requests for haying assistance and now; they are adding haying to their assistance options to help more producers.  Farm Rescue was founded in 2006 and has benefited more than 250 families since it started.  Applications are now being accepted for the 2014 planting and haying seasons and applicants are encouraged to apply early to receive priority consideration.   For more information, contact Farm Rescue at 701-252-2017 or visit
