PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The Bureau of Administration reminds local parents and high school students that the Capitol building will be open on Sunday, prior to the King of Hearts Dance, for those wanting to take photos within the building. Mike Mueller says dance attendees and their families are being asked to use the north door to enter the Capitol on Sunday. The King of Hearts Dance will be held in the gym of the Georgia Morse Middle School and is for 9th through 12th grade students only. This formal event is being held from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. King of Hearts candidates this year are Nate Cronin from Stanley County and from T.F. Riggs High School-Cash Anderson, Christopher Rumrill, Tristin Rancour, Chauncy Trapp, Garrett Pochop, John Reiners, Blake Dean, Matt Blaseg and Justin Oakland. The King of Hearts will be crowned Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are available at floral shops in Pierre/Fort Pierre and at Creative Cuts or the Hollywood Shop in Pierre-or by contacting a member of Jobs Daughters.
