PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor basketball team completed a weekend sweep of games with a 37-25 win over Watertown in Pierre on Saturday night. The Lady Govs limited the Arrows to just 2 first quarter points and led 26-11 at halftime. Sydney Palmer had a double double for the Lady Govs for a second straight night as she scored a game high 12 points and 10 rebounds. Katie Berg added 8 points and Kaitlin Severyn had 7. Ellie Stevenson had 7 points for Watertown. With the win, the Lady Govs improved to 8 and 6 on the season while Watertown fell to 4 and 12. Pierre will host Sturgis Tuesday night.
