Agar/Blunt/Onida-no school Monday.

Kimball School-No school on Monday and a two hour late start on Tuesday, January 7.

Chamberlain schools will be closed on Monday.

Timber Lake School will be closed Monday, January 6th.

No School at Eureka Monday; school will run two hours late on Tuesday.

No school Monday at Bowdle; 10:20 a.m. start on Tuesday.

No school at the Rock Creek Grant School Monday; school will be one hour late on Tuesday.

No school at Gettysburg Monday; 10:00 a.m. start on Tuesday.

No school at Selby Area Monday.

No school at Wakpala Monday.

No school at McIntosh Monday

No school at Leola Monday.

No school at Zion Pre-school in Mobridge Monday

No school at St. Joseph’s pre-school in Mobridge Monday.

No school at Mobridge Head Start Monday.

No School at Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Monday, January 6th.  School resumes Tuesday, January 7th.

No school at Dupree Monday.

Hoven Schools will be closed on Monday, January 6.

Due to the weather, Head Start centers in both Pierre and Highmore will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 6.

Faulkton Area Closed Monday, Opening at 10:00 AM on Tuesday.

No school at Selfridge.




Stanley County School District will have school Monday, but school officials advise that parents keep children home if they do not have a ride to and from school-or if travel is not safe from your destination.  Please notify the appropriate building on your child’s absence.  Stanley County buildings are warm and safe.  Students will be under one roof with limited need be outside during the school day.  Also, all extracurricular activities will end at 5:15PM.

Kadoka starting two hours late (10:00) Monday.

Pierre schools will be open tomorrow.  Parents should make sure students are dressed appropriately for the weather and have safe transportation to and from school.  If parents choose not to send children to school, they should notify the appropriate school to excuse the absence, and it will not be held against their attendance.



For the safety of our staff and members, the Oahe Family YMCA and Pierre Aquatic Center will open late on Monday at 8:00am.  There will also be no classes-including Kindergym, swimming programs, nursery service and adult fitness classes.

The bred heifer sale scheduled at Herried Livestock on Wednesday has been postponed to January 22nd.

No meals at the Eureka Senior Citizen’s Nutrition Center Monday.

No work for Cheyenne-River Sioux Tribal out-of-town employees Monday.  In town employees start at 10:00 a.m.
