USD’s Krittenbrink Earns National Honor

VERMILLION, S.D. – Kendall Kritenbrink was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s Division I Honorable Mention All-America team in a release on Wednesday. Kritenbrink, a junior outside hitter, was The Summit League’s Player of the Year while averaging 4.64 kills and 2.45 digs per set this season. She led the league in total kills (557), was second in total service aces (57) and led in kills per set during league play (5.09). Kritenbrink currently ranks second on USD’s all-time career kills list with 1,426 and ranks fifth among NCAA active players in career kills per set at 4.40 per set.
