PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A Colorado man who grew up in the Midland area has returned to South Dakota for a few days to visit with people about two of his film projects. Justin Koehler will be at the Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center December 14 for showings of his documentary on James “Scotty” Philip called “The Buffalo King” (showings at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the center’s theater) and he will also be available to talk with visitors about a documentary he’s working on on the life of Stanley County native and world famous saddle bronc rider Casey Tibbs.
