ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) – Two-time defending State B champion Warner and this year’s runner-up Chester each have two members on the first squad of the South Dakota Class B All State Volleyball team named today by the South Dakota Volleyball Coaches Association. Arlington and Northwestern each place one player on the honor unit. Those four teams have combined to win 13 state championships, have been runner-up 14 times and finished third nine times. The first team includes Ashley Rozell and Miranda Ristau of Warner, Jenna Reiff and Erin Benson of Chester, Samantha Boeck of Arlington and Jordon Peterson of Northwestern. Lyman’s Anna Flitner on the second team All State squad as is Brett Heuer, of Arlington, Courtney McKee, of Alcester-Hudson, Allison Sanner, of Parker, Sierra Stugelmeyer, of Harding County, and Haylee Biel, of Herreid-Selby Area. The honorable mention list features Karlea Stahl, of Sully Buttes, Morgan Hay, of Parker, Tyann Hamlin, of Highmore-Harrold, Gabby Kampmann and Shelby Remund, both of Elkton-Lake Benton, and LaMour Binger, of Hitchcock-Tulare.
