PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) Jerry Wattier, Veterans Service Chairman for the Pierre Elks Lodge No. 1953 and fellow Lodge member Kristi Honeywell were guests today on KGFX’s The Morning Train with Scott Lane to discuss the stocking stuffer Christmas program. The annual effort benefits veterans and their families at the federal VA facilities and the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs. Now through Friday Dec, 13th, drop off your stocking stuffer items at any of the many drop off locations, including every bank in the area. Items such as mens’ shirts with snaps, flannel shirts, denture supplies, socks, diabetic candy and snacks, mouth wash, T-shirts, soaps, shampoo, etc. are needed. For more info call 605-224-5825.
