ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – (DRG News) A Pierre woman has been given a special thank you as the result of her contribution to the community. Marjorie Schoenrock was selected to receive free fuel from “Tanks of Thanks”, which is a Cenex program that rewards people who do good deeds to improve their community. The program encourages people to nominate friends, family and neighbors for free fuel as a way to say thanks for what they do. Schoenrock was named for volunteering at the hospital, donating handmade quilts to patients, mending sheets and bibs and organizing merchandise in the hospice unit. A release from Cenex says Schoenrock is also involved in her church and provides home health care for those in need. Schoenrock was named to get a $50 Tanks of Thanks gift card redeemable at any Cenex location. So far, the program has rewarded 111 people from across the state with gift cards for free fuel.
